Working with Photographs

In this assignment you will be editing photographs. There are nine tasks in all that need to be completed. With each task you must provide a before photo, an after photo, and a list of the tools you used. For the list of tools make sure you include an explanation of what each tool does.

You can find your photographs online or you can use your own.

You can also use online tutorials.

Please put all photographs and lists of tools in a Word document that is neatly organized with the following headings:

• ·         Task 1 - Improve an Underexposed Photo (Too Dark)
• ·         Task 2 - Improve an Overexposed Photo (Too Light)
• ·         Task 3 – Remove Red Eye
• ·         Task 4 – Remove Blemishes to Improve Skin Tone
• ·         Task 5 – Remove a Colour Cast
• ·         Task 6 – Add a Sepia Tone
• ·         Task 7 – Create a Photo-Filled Text
• ·         Task 8 – Create a Soft-Focus Effect
• ·         Task 9 - Create a Dark-Edged Vignette Effect 

Marks

Each task will be worth 5 marks.

• 1 mark for having the before and after photographs.
• 1 mark for having a list of tools, including descriptions
• 3 marks for having completed the task correctly.

An additional 5 marks will be given on the neatness and presentation of your Word document.

Total: 50 marks
